Lions Workbook - Primary 3

Help children grow deeper in their understanding of God’s Word through engaging Bible stories, thoughtful teaching, Scripture memory, creative activities, and practical lessons that connect biblical truth with everyday life.

Primary 3 features 22 carefully structured lessons that take children through significant stories and teachings from both the Old and New Testaments. Beginning with Creation and God’s Purpose, children explore the journey of Israel, the Tabernacle, Deborah, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Nehemiah and the Psalms. The curriculum then leads them into the life and ministry of Christ, including John the Baptist, the birth of Jesus, His “I AM” statements, miracles, parables, death, resurrection, the Great Commission, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

The curriculum also includes lessons on Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday, Pentecost and Christmas, helping children understand and celebrate important moments in the Christian faith.

Each lesson is designed to help children know Scripture, understand God’s character, remember His truth, and put their faith into action, with:

• Bible Story & Lesson – Biblical teaching rooted in Scripture
• GOD DNA – Discovering God's character and unchanging nature
• Theme & Memory Verses – Encouraging children to know and treasure God's Word
• Living It Out (LIO) – Relating biblical truths to real-life situations
• Moral of the Story & Word of the Week – Reinforcing key lessons and truths
• Fill in the Blanks – A fun and interactive way to review the lesson
• Craft for the Day – Creative activities that make learning memorable
• Home Activities – Encouraging continued learning and application at home

A thoughtfully designed church curriculum resource for Sunday schools, churches, teachers and parents who want to equip children with a strong biblical foundation and encourage them to live out their faith every day.
